How It All Started
Many of us began this 21-Day Juniper Journey physically exhausted, spiritually weary, emotionally drained, and carrying burdens that God never intended for us to carry alone. Some came feeling overwhelmed by ministry, family responsibilities, work, finances, grief, disappointment, or simply the weight of life itself. Others arrived feeling disconnected, depleted, and in desperate need of God’s refreshing presence.
Like Elijah in 1 Kings 19, many of us found ourselves beneath our own Juniper Tree. We had been running, fighting, serving, building, praying, and pouring out for others. Yet beneath the surface, we were tired. We needed more than another assignment. We needed rest. We needed restoration. We needed God.
What began as a simple invitation to “Come Away With Me and Rest Your Vessel” became a divine encounter. God called us away from the noise, away from the pressure, away from striving, and into His presence. He reminded us that before we can pour out, we must first be filled. Before we can continue the journey, we must learn to rest.
During these 21 days, we discovered that rest is holy. We learned that healing often begins when we stop running. We learned that God’s voice becomes clearer when our souls become quieter. We learned that our value is not found in what we do, but in whose we are.
Under the Juniper Tree, God restored our hearts, renewed our minds, refreshed our spirits, and reminded us that He is our refuge. What started as a journey of rest became a journey of healing, surrender, trust, renewal, and transformation.
And now, as we look back, we can say with confidence: God met us here.
The Juniper Tree became a place of refuge for the weary, healing for the wounded, strength for the weak, peace for the anxious, and renewal for the exhausted.
This is how it all started—God calling His daughters to come away, rest, and be restored in His presence.
